The Processional of Flags to be installed on the Battlefield will be on September 4, 2021. Gathering time begins at 9:00 am with the Processional to start at 10:00 am.

Whether you choose to observe the Procession from the sidelines or carry a flag, the entire community is welcome to participate in or observe this emotionally powerful event. Led by the Atlanta Pipe Band, we will begin at 10:00 a.m. from Grace Community Church, 770 Kennesaw Avenue NW, Marietta, GA 30060 (see below for parking and shuttle info) and solemnly make our way to Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park for the installation of the flags on the Field of Flags. If you would like to carry a flag in the Processional, please provide the requested information to register. There is no charge to participate. Thank you!

Parking and shuttle bus service to the church will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m. from C.W. Matthews at 1600 Kenview Drive off of Old 41, the Shrine Club lot at 1380 White Circle, and The Gardens at Kennesaw Mountain at 1127 White Circle. Return shuttle service will be provided until 12:30 p.m.
